The Campaign to Save the Road to Hampden
This campaign is all about preserving a dream – a dream shared by almost 35,000 amateur footballers across Scotland. They don’t play for money, they play for the love of the game and, if they’re successful, a chance to run out on the hallowed turf of Scotland’s national stadium.
Is today’s game so motivated by finance that the powers that be should be allowed to snatch away that dream? We don’t believe that to be the case. We think that there are enough football fans out there who remember what the game is all about and we’re counting on your support to help us to ensure that the decision by the Hampden Blazerati is overturned and the Scottish Amateur Cup Final is returned to where it belongs: Hampden Park, on a sunny weekend in May.
To find out more about the campaign check out the "Why the Campaign?" section and then head to "Petition & More" section to sign our petition, download campaign materials and find out how you can contact your MSP to show your support.
